    I went on a vacation a couple of weeks ago to southern  California.   We drove there, it took us about 20 hours to get there.  It took  so long cause I had taken my 3 nephews and my niece.  It was a great experience for them!    Took them to Sea World,Disneyland, to the beach and to the places that we don’t have  here in Colorado.  I kept thinking to myself ” Oh.. to be a kid again”! 

  I really enjoyed seeing the expression on  the kids faces!  I can tell they were really enjoying themselves.  Its moments like those that I cherish forever!   I never really thought that I would have fun,but I did!   Sea World in particular added some water rides that they didn’t have  before.    Me and my nephews and niece must have rode this ride( inner tube water rapids ) about 6 times.  Each time we got soaked!  It was amazing!

  I just kept thinking when I was a kid.  Life was so much simple then.  No worries in the world!  Except for not doing things to get in trouble. :)     Always trying to find something fun to do.  Maybe go to park, or just riding my bike around the block.  Always look forward to when my cousins Frank,Joe and John will come to visit and we play baseball and just have fun.  Life was so simple then! Oh…. to be a kid again!

A few days ago, I was doing some shopping for items that I need for my house. I went into a well known retail store here in Colorado. When I walked into the door, I was greeted by an awesome employee that seem to be having a great day. She had a huge smile on her face and I can tell that she was very sincere with her greeting to me. As I continue shopping thru the store, I asked another employee where a certain item was. By the way he showed told me and showed me where it was. I felt that was interrupting him with what ever duties he was performing. So it got me thinking…….. why is it that one employee can have a wonderful day,while another can have a bad day? They are doing the same job,aren’t day? Probably making the same money. What I felt was the difference is that it all a choice! One employee chose to be happy with their job and have a great day. While another just simply chose to have a bad day.

There is a lot of things that you can’t control. But there is something that you can control. That how you react to things. For example…… When you go to work you can either choose to go to work and say to yourself ” Am going to have great day at this job… No matter what happens” or choose to go to work and say” Another day at this stupid job, I hate going to this job” Now what choice do you think,will make your day better? I had people telling all the time ……. Gosh I hate my job! Every time come to work I feel miserable. I just tell them, well that’s all your choice! You hate this job,go find another that you don’t hate. Or even better start a business for yourself,so you won’t have a boss telling you what to do. If you feel miserable coming to work, then choose not to feel miserable. Its all a choice you make. People used to ask me all the time……. Why are you so positive all the time and nothing bothers you. I tell them because I choose to be positive and I choose to let nothing me.

You see……..Its all your choice the way you react to things. I just feel that people, will enjoy life more, if they choose not to make the small things bother them. Just my opinion……..

I know that sounds like a weird subject, it got me thinking today. I mean, Have you ever known or met anyone that to acts like they are some one else? They seem to want to fit in with the so called” in crowd”, so they act a certain way. I know I have known and met a lot of people like that. I admit at one time in my life, I acted like that. I wanted to dress or behave a certain way so I can fit in with the crowd. Like I said in my earlier post I was a very shy kid. When I moved to another place, I wanted to fit in. So I tried to act like the kids around me. As I look back, I laugh at the things I tried to do and the way I acted. If I had just act like I supposed to, I feel I would have enjoyed myself better.

People have to realize that everyone is unique. Everyone has there own special qualities that make them who they are. I tell my nephews and niece all the time, Don’t act like your someone else. I tell them to treat people,the way you want to be treated, and if people don’t appreciate you or like you for the special person you are. Then it is there problem not yours.

So realize that there is only one Michael Jordan,Tiger Woods,Lance Armstrong.etc. Just like there is only one you! So just be the best, that you can be and the world will be a better because of that!

As I look at back at my life, I am very thankful for the people that encourage me. Great friends are hard to find and you should cherish them. Like I mentioned in my early post, I was very shy kid growing up. So shy that I didn’t talk much and teachers thought I didn’t know how to speak English. In fact, I remember one time they put me in “special class” for kids that had a hard time speaking English. They made feel like a fool. I remember a teacher telling another teacher ” Sometimes I wonder,why they ever let people in the US that don’t speak English. It should be a requirement” When she looked at me, and she saw my face. Right then, she knew that I understood what she was saying. I can tell she was embarrassed for what she said.

Even though I was so shy and didn’t talk to anyone. There was always one kid that would talk to me and make me feel welcomed. I thank God there were kids like that,cause without them I don’t know where I would be today. Its no fun for a new kid,to just sit by himself and wish he were some where else. That’s why I hated being a military kid,cause every time I made great friends. Either I or they had to move to another place. But later on thru my years it made appreciate having great friends!

As of today, I only have a handful of great friends. But these people I cherish for as long as I live! Two people that I consider my best friends. One…..she knows who she is The other one…. Is not actually a friend. He is my first cousin(his dad and my dad are brothers). Me and him have a bond that will last a lifetime. I thank God everyday for these two.

So if you have great friends, cherish them for as long as you live.

Now your probably wondering who I am. At this moment I live in Fountain,Colorado. Been here for about 5 years. I was born on the beautiful island of Guam in the Chinese year of the rooster. Its a unique story because both my parents are from the island of Guam and at that time they were stationed on Hawaii. Since I was going to be the first born,they wanted me to be born on Guam. So… My dad sent my mom back to Guam. I also have 1 sister and 1 brother. My sister was born in San Diego,CA and my brother was born in Reno,Nevada. I thank God everyday that I was blessed to have great parents and have an awesome brother and sister!

Like I said my dad was in Navy, so we got stationed in another place every 3-4 years. To be honest, I didn’t like being a military kid because I hated to keep moving and going to different schools.

I think I went to 8 different elementary schools,1 middle school and 2 high schools. I was a shy kid back then. I didn’t really get over my shyness until I was in my early 20’s. It when I was introduced to the home based business industry. More specifically Network Marketing ! Yes I am proud to say I am a Network Marketer! The industry introduced me to self development. Things like books,tapes and meeting positive people that allowed, even a very shy person like myself. To break out of my shyness and release the greatness within me. That’s why I am so passionate to help educate people about Network Marketing industry. People don’t realize that Network Marketing can teach you a number of things. Such as leadership,overcoming obstacles,self discipline,faith in people,etc.

I started this blog not only to express my thoughts of being me, but to show people that no matter what obstacles you have in life, that if you believe in yourself. Then you can achieve everything that you deserve.
